We are always looking for volunteers who like to read to children. But we also need volunteers to attend events to staff our table and to register children in the program. We need office help from time to time, so if you would like to volunteer, contact us today.

Make a Donation, Sponsor a Child or Remember Books from Birth in Your Will
Of course, the best way you can help is by making a contribution or by sponsoring a child. You can sponsor a child you know (like a grandchild or niece) or you can sponsor children you have never met. You can also honor a friend or relative's birthday with a gift to Books from Birth, and you can remember Books from Birth in your estate planning. Contact us today.

Make Sure Your Faith Community Has an Ambassador
Our Books from Birth Ambassador Program uses a volunteer from within a faith community to make sure all children under five are enrolled in the Imagination Library. Check with your faith community to see if you are
involved. If not, contact us to see how your faith community can get involved.

Bring a Books from Birth Speaker to Make a Presentation to Your Organization
If your organization needs a speaker, please contact us to arrange a talk about how children’s books can change the future of Shelby County.

Tell Everyone You Know!
The best advertising is word of mouth advertising. If you are participating in the program, please tell all your friends living in Shelby County about Books from Birth and make sure their chidren aged 0-5 are enrolled.
